Your donation will provide a farmer with 40 chickens, training, and chicken feed to last a month. They’re also trained on household management, hygiene, and accounting.
All of the 40 chickens that each farmer receives will be over the age of 6 months, and fully vaccinated.
Through this project, we’ll be prioritizing the most marginalized families in the Mansehra District of Pakistan-administered Kashmir. In particular, we’ll focus on supporting widowed mothers, helping them to form a business to support their orphaned children.
