Be a mercy to flood survivors

Eight months on from the Pakistan floods, and 1.8 million people are still living beside stagnant floodwater, at risk of disease. 170,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition, and 4.3 million workers have been affected as a result of the floods.

This Ramadan, help us to support a family affected by the floods by providing sustainable, safe brick homes, containing a kitchen and washroom.

Give mercy to a family who lost their home to the floods.

Sustainable change for long-term resilience

We’re also continuing our long-term projects which empower communities to be resilient to climate change and the causes of disasters. This Ramadan be a mercy to a family facing cyclical climate crises by installing a water well, providing livelihood training and tools, or transforming an entire village with solar-powered water pumps, lighting, toilets, and farming training.

Help us to transform a drought-hit village in Tharparkar. Be a mercy.

Why give with Human Appeal

We’ve been changing lives in Pakistan for 17 years.

Last year, we helped a total of 3,843,279 people, including 1,656,490 people in Pakistan through our flood response, as well as projects that provided sustainable clean water, livelihood training, education, solar-powered electricity, and food security.

This Ramadan, be a mercy to a family in Pakistan, and reap Allah’s mercy in the month of blessings.

Saving villages at Basti Emaan in Pakistan

Basti Emaan Village

The recent floods in Pakistan have caused devastation.

Basti Emaan Village

During the 2010 floods, many villages, including Basti Emaan, were drowned in water and all the houses within the village were destroyed.

Basti Emaan Village

Human Appeal built 142 houses for the people of the village and the nearby villages too.

Basti Emaan Village

But we didn’t stop there, Human Appeal knew that a disaster – prone area like this village could get hit by floods again.

Basti Emaan Village

So, Human Appeal built a 5km long mud embankment alongside the route.

Basti Emaan Village

The houses built by Human Appeal almost 12 years ago stand firm today. Human Appeal, together with Experian are looking to rebuild another village destroyed by the deadly flooding with your help.
