Sudan is facing a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions, yet it rarely makes headlines. After a year of war, 14 million children need aid, 19 million are out of school, and 4 million are displaced, making Sudan the largest child displacement crisis in the world.
Living conditions are dire, with food and water shortages. 3.7 million children are malnourished, including 730,000 with severe acute malnutrition. Worse still, 70-80% of hospitals have closed due to a lack of supplies, leaving two-thirds of the population without basic healthcare.
