Ramadan Reflection #5: Allah’s Mercy for the Repentant

Allah’s Mercy for the Repentant – Even after mistakes, forgiveness is always available.

When Omar ibn al-Khattab (RA) was heading to Madinah, he and Aayyash were separated, and Aayyash was tricked by Abu Jahl into returning to Makkah, where he was captured and tortured. Despite his temporary lapse in faith, Allah revealed the verse reminding His servants not to despair of His mercy, as He forgives all sins. This incident highlights Allah's boundless forgiveness and mercy for those who repent.
