We work in communities where your Aqiqa makes an impact on struggling families. Each of our local teams selects the healthiest, well-cared-for animals and slaughters them according to strict Islamic principles. How does it work
You donate your Aqiqa with Human Appeal. Our specialist staff will decide where the need is highest, and assign your Aqiqa to the community where your sacrifice will make the most impact. We perform Aqiqas in every single one of the 19 countries that we work in.
Within two to three weeks, our local team in that country will perform your Aqiqa, and will immediately distribute the fresh meat to 14 to 18 vulnerable families (depending on the size of the animal), providing each family with two kilograms, helping to nourish their children, and fight hunger and malnutrition.
Once complete, we’ll send you a report to let you know how your Aqiqa helped families to eat well, an honour in the name of your new child. We’ll tell you when and where the sacrifice was completed, and how many people it supported.
