The Crisis
A powerful earthquake has struck eastern Afghanistan, killing over 800 people and injuring more than 2,500. Entire villages in Kunar and Nangarhar have been reduced to rubble. Survivors are left hungry, homeless, and cut off from help.
Families Are Hungry
Parents are struggling to feed their children. Many families sit in the open air with nothing to eat, waiting for relief.
Hot Meals for Survivors
Human Appeal is providing 600 hot meals every day to earthquake survivors. Each meal includes Kabuli Pulao, naan bread, red bean curry, and water.
