Your donations can transform the future of a teenager forced onto the streets in Lagos, Nigeria. With your support, we want to help 20 boys get off the streets, providing them with food, mental health support, literacy and training, counselling, as well as the tools and training to have an independent future.

Abandoned and forced to survive by any means
In Nigeria, poverty and unemployment has isolated thousands of vulnerable children and teenagers. Over 89 million people in Nigeria are living below the poverty line, many of whom do not have a stable income or access to regular food. As a result, many teenagers spend their days roaming the streets in hope of finding food or money. Many spend their days begging, taking part in casual labor or petty crime just in order to have food to eat and to survive another day.
These teens are extremely vulnerable, and have no adults looking out for them. They are often targeted by criminal gangs and groomed into substance abuse and addiction, putting them at extreme risk, and demolishing their futures.
It costs $500 per month to support one teenager living on the streets, providing them with food, counselling and educational training. There is no shortcut to transforming a life, and our quality project cares for each section of a child’s needs, altering the course of their future.
We’ll also train them in a trade, such as tailoring, carpentry, and tire repair, and provide them with the tools and funds to establish a livelihood and have a permanent way off the streets.
