The 12-week initiative, set to begin with the Islamic New Year (Muharram), is designed to provide a practical, faith-first guide to daily charitable giving, transforming the summer months into a season of profound spiritual productivity and lasting impact.
The "Summer of Sadaqah" campaign offers participants a practical, faith-first guide to daily giving, connecting every act of charity to a real Human Appeal project and a prophetic hadith. Through 12 distinct good deeds over 12 weeks, organized into six thematic chapters, people will be able to turn summer into the most spiritually productive season of the year.
The campaign's core objectives are to inspire consistent acts of sadaqah (voluntary charity), drive donations for critical humanitarian programs, build a strong sense of community, and create a lasting impact also known as sadaqah jariyah.
The campaign looks to focus giving around different priorities during specific timeframes:
- Week 1-2: Water & Mercy, focusing on water wells and emergency aid
- Week 3-4: Food & Shelter, focusing on food parcels and orphan sponsorship
- Week 5-6: Worship & Knowledge, focusing on education and Masjid support
- Week 7-8: Character & Everyday, focusing on cleft lip surgeries and sanitation
- Week 9-10: Legacy (Sadaqah Jariyah), focusing on wells and schools
- Week 11-12: Global Good, focusing on disaster relief and intention
