When you sponsor a Tanzanian orphan in our program, you will receive two reports each year – a unique feature of Human Appeal’s program. These reports will update you on their housing, education, favorite subjects, and hobbies, and you’ll even receive a drawing or letter from them.

Trust Human Appeal’s 32 years of expertise in nurturing orphaned children. In Tanzania, like in all of the 14 countries where we sponsor orphans, we have a dedicated child safeguarding officer who oversees each child’s well-being. All our staff are thoroughly trained in child protection, ensuring that every orphan you sponsor is safe, cared for, and in school. We’ll transparently report back to you in your biannual updates.
We also provide training to mothers and caregivers on child protection, helping them to shield orphans from common risks. In Tanzania, we work to empower families by training widowed mothers to earn a livelihood, supporting their orphaned children more effectively.
Today, our sponsors support 23,000 orphans across 14 countries, including Tanzania, and with your help, we can reach even more children in need.
Human Appeal is committed to providing aid in the country or program that you select. In the event we complete the program, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where it is needed most.
