Clean Water for Rural Villages in Senegal

$65 - Can provide 1 person with clean water in Senegal

Thousands of families in rural Senegal struggle every day to find safe drinking water. Women and children walk up to six kilometers each day to gather unclean water, which causes illnesses like cholera and prevents children, particularly females, from attending school.

Our Response

Human Appeal USA is constructing ten solar-powered wells in the Thies and Fatick districts to provide clean water to 3,420 people. These wells will supply safe drinking, cooking, and hygiene water, benefiting the health of families while saving time for families.

In the event we complete the program, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where it is needed most.
