How did we carry out the Qurbani project in Gaza in 2024?

In the first year of the war, by the grace of God and your support, we were able to provide 700 shares of live livestock within Gaza. Additionally, we innovatively delivered 1,120 shares (160 cows) through a creative canned Qurbani project launched by Human Appeal to overcome logistical and security challenges. The cows were slaughtered in India in accordance with Islamic guidelines, then the meat was frozen and shipped to Dubai. There, it was canned under strict quality standards to ensure its safety and suitability for transport and consumption.

On November 9, 2024, the canned Qurbani reached Gaza and was distributed to impoverished families—breaking the ongoing cycle of hunger and bringing smiles to the faces of children and mothers amid the darkest of times.
