Quran Distribution in Omdurman - Sudan

Many Omdurman families, students, and mosques do not have access to personal copies of the Holy Quran, this limits religious education and religious growth. Human Appeal aims to change this by donating 8,000 copies to those in need.

Why It Matters

Despite Sudan's significant Islamic legacy, economic difficulties has made it difficult for many to find a Quran. Religious schools (khalwas) often have limited resources, forcing students to share copies.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." (Bukhari)

Our Plan:

  • Distribute 8,000 copies to families, mosques, and schools.
  • Work with local leaders to ensure Qurans reach those who need them most.
  • Raise awareness through community outreach and banners.

Human Appeal is committed to providing aid in the country or program that you select. In the event we complete the program, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where it is needed most.
