Masjid for Displaced Communities in Northern Syria

Hundreds of displaced families in Al Zohoor Town are unable to pray or gather as a community. With no mosque nearby, residents—men, women, and children—find it difficult to pray on a daily basis, particularly during Ramadan.

Human Appeal is building a mosque to accommodate 600 people, giving a secure and accessible space for prayer, Quran study, and spiritual connection. The mosque will have a prayer hall, a separate women's space, an ablution area, and durable structure.

Why This Mosque Matters

  • A sanctuary for prayer and worship
  • A center for Quran learning and religious education
  • A safe and accessible space for the entire community

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.” (Bukhari, Muslim)
