$250 – Provides learning tools and meals for deaf children in Sudan

In Sudan’s Blue Nile State, deaf and mute children are often left out of school. Years of conflict and displacement have destroyed classrooms and left teachers without training or resources. Human Appeal is transforming this reality by establishing a Deaf Education Unit — a safe, equipped learning space where children can finally learn, communicate, and belong.

The project supports 97 families and benefits 437 people, including 77 deaf students. Classrooms will be furnished, teachers trained in sign language, and students will receive electronic and traditional learning materials. To encourage attendance and wellbeing, Human Appeal will also provide a school feeding program for children and teachers throughout the academic year.
