Children are one of the most marginalized groups in any disaster, and they pay the heaviest burden. Half of all those displaced in conflict situations are children and young people. Not only are they made extra vulnerable by conflict and displacement, but they also lose out on education.
With your help, we work year-round to provide some of the most marginalized children with access to locally-relevant education.
In Bangladesh, we’re helping vulnerable street children to have a safe place, schooling, and career training.
Last year, in Lebanon, we sponsored the education of 1,175 Syrian refugees.
