$5,700 or $475 per month – Help us to build a long-lasting home containing a living room, bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom (1/12 shares).

After 13 years of conflict, over half a million Syrians have lost their lives and more than 14 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Around 5.5 million Syrian refugees live in the five countries neighboring Syria—Türkiye, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt.

More than 7.2 million Syrians remain internally displaced, 70 percent of people need humanitarian assistance. 90 percent live below the poverty line and the humanitarian situation has been worsened by last year’s deadly earthquake.

As the world’s attention focuses on other countries, conflicts, and disasters, we must never tire of helping our Syrian brothers and sisters in need.

Help Syrian families

Together, we can help Syria’s most vulnerable by supporting access to healthcare, secure homes, and livelihoods.

Soaring prices means many Syrians cannot afford food, making life unbearable for families enduring conflict and displacement. As we eat dinner each day, a staggering 12.9 million Syrians are going hungry – that’s more than half the population.

13 years of war and a deadly earthquake have pushed families to the brink. A breadwinner needs to earn more to feed their children, but with the collapse of infrastructure, jobs are hard to come by. The healthcare system is decimated so the cost of treatment too high. At every step, the problems of ordinary families spiral.

Human Appeal in Syria

Human Appeal’s projects in Syria address all sides of this spiral. Our nutritious month-long food parcels and daily bread ensures parents have enough food for their children.

Our Al Imaan Hospital in northern Syria provides 6,000 people with free healthcare every month. We also provide an ambulance and mobile clinics for simple cases, so families don’t have to travel to the hospital, while children receive free treatment to help protect them from malnutrition and disease.

Our homes project has provided 10,000 Syrians from 2,000 families with a safe, long-term home connected to the water and sewage system.

Although the dire humanitarian situation in Syria no longer makes news headlines, our local team in Syria continues to provide the most vulnerable families with food, healthcare, homes, and livelihoods, but we urgently need your help to continue protecting the most vulnerable.
