Since the conflict began last April 2023, Sudan has become the largest internal displacement crisis in the world. Over 7.1 million people are now displaced within the country, while over 1.2 million have fled to neighbouring countries, including Chad, Egypt, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya, and Central African Republic.

The humanitarian situation and living conditions for displaced families are catastrophic, with no end to the crisis in sight. Sudan’s plight is largely unreported in the main news media so it’s vital we do not turn our backs - we must be the respite our brothers and sisters need.
