LONDON - The second annual Saverah Women Expo in partnership with Human Appeal is a unique event designed to celebrate, support, educate and empower modern Muslim women, from home-makers to high-powered businesswomen and everyone in between. Organised by Saverah Events, this year's Saverah Women Expo takes place Sunday, May 29 at the InterContinental London - The O2; more than 5,000 visitors are expected to attend.
The biggest event of its kind in the U.K. and Europe, the expo provides a platform to Muslim women to support and showcase their amazing skills and talents. It brings together a variety of resources in one place, from women-owned businesses, fashion to beauty, lifestyle and health.
Corporate companies such as Mecca Cola, Human Appeal, Firnas Airways, BCBN, HUM TV, British Muslim TV, UK Times and Jimas have come forward to support the Expo and Muslim Women businesses in the British Community.
Called the 'Ultimate Day Out' for women, the Saverah Women Expo offers an interacting platform for modest fashion designers to unveil their new and popular collections. In addition to three live fashion shows, the day will also showcase the unique products, services and businesses of more than 100 Muslim female exhibitors. Designers will be seen from UK and around the globe on the Saverah Women Expo catwalk.
Besides discovering the latest modest fashion and Muslim female-run businesses, attendees can also take advantage of educational seminars, networking opportunities and presentations by motivational speakers. Dr Princess Fumi Hancock, author of ‘Quit your job in 90 days’ will be hosting a seminar at the expo. Other speakers will include Pinki Lilani, Maria Idrissi, MP Rushanara Ali and many more.
