Morocco Winter Kit
Atlas Mountain Winters Are Brutal — And These Families Have Nothing Left
Two years after the 2023 earthquake, thousands of families in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains are still rebuilding in some of the country’s most isolated communities. When winter arrives, sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfall cut villages off entirely. Families need food and warmth. Children need a coat, proper shoes, and warm clothing just to get to school.
Human Appeal is delivering two targeted winter kits in Morocco — one for families and one for children — so you can choose where your donation makes the biggest difference.
The Crisis Facing Families This Winter
Earthquake-affected families face sub-zero winters with no food or warm bedding
Children without a coat miss school and face cold-related illness
