Feed families facing famine in Sudan
Sudan is on the brink of famine. Conflict and economic collapse have left 24.6 million people without reliable access to food, and 8.6 million are displaced from their homes. In Khartoum State, families return to destroyed neighborhoods with no food, clean water, or shelter. Prices of basic staples have more than doubled, leaving the poorest with nothing to eat.
Human Appeal is providing 2,000 food parcels to 2,000 families—reaching over 10,000 people in Khartoum. Each parcel includes rice, flour, lentils, pasta, sugar, tea, and oil, meeting a family’s essential needs. By sourcing locally, the project also supports small traders and strengthens the local economy.
