Zakat al Fitr for Gaza

Zakat al Fitr for Gaza

Zakat al Fitr for Gaza

Zakat Al-Fitr is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and a duty on all Muslims who can afford it. “The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) ordained Zakat al Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as zakah for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer; but it is a mere sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.” (Hadith Ibn Majah)

This Eid, we cannot hide from the reality that the Ummah in Gaza are facing. The catastrophic levels of starvation in Gaza are the worst that have ever been recorded. Almost the entire population of Gaza is in food crisis – 2.13 million people. Most are children. We must do everything possible to provide food to as many people as possible.

$12 – Give your Zakat al-Fitr in Gaza, providing a nutritious Eid meal to a person facing starvation in Gaza.

$24 – Give Zakat al-Fitr for two people, providing nutritious Eid meals to families facing starvation in Gaza.

$36 – Give Zakat al-Fitr for four people, providing nutritious Eid meals to families facing starvation in Gaza.

Don’t forget to give your Zakat al-Fitr before Eid prayer for it to be valid.

Famine is imminent in northern Gaza, and without more help, it will reach all areas. Already, children have been starved to death. In Ramadan, families have been pushed to such extremes that they resort to eating soup made of boiled grass and bread made of animal feed.

This Eid, provide your Zakat al-Fitr in Gaza, and help us to provide urgent food to men, women and children facing starvation in Gaza. Since the start of Ramadan, we’ve provided over 450,000 hot meals in across Gaza, including in the north.

Our brothers and sisters in Gaza urgently need help to access food. Provide your Zakat al-Fitr in Gaza and help us to fight starvation in Gaza.

Give your Zakat al-Fitr now.
