Families in Al-Zohoor and Al-Yasmeen camps have lost nearly everything to disaster and displacement. Al-Zohoor shelters earthquake survivors. Al-Yasmeen houses families relocated from unsafe settlements. Struggling to meet daily needs, many cannot afford even the most basic religious essentials: a Quran and a prayer rug. Human Appeal is delivering over 2,000 Qurans and over 2,000 prayer rugs so that displaced families can fulfill their obligation to pray and find comfort in their faith.
