Health centres for displaced Syrians

3.1 million Syrians in northwest Syria need medical help, out of a total of 4.4 million people – that’s almost one in every three people in need of healthcare.

Help us to save lives in Syria by helping us to keep two critical primary healthcare centres open.

The Messenger (PBUH) said: “Be merciful to others and you will receive mercy. Forgive others and Allah will forgive you.” (Ahmad)

$10 – Provide a vulnerable Syrian with medical care at one of our two primary healthcare centers.

Struggling to afford food, displaced families can’t afford medical care

With your help, we want to support Mariam primary healthcare center in Kefer Lusin, and Mashhad Ruhin healthcare center. Three years ago, we raised funds to build these centers, but now we need your help to keep them open and running until the end of 2023.

Together, they serve a community of around 81,000 displaced people. Each month, we’ll perform 2,500 procedures at Mariam center, and 6,050 at Mashhad Ruhin, though we expect those figures to increase each month.

What are primary healthcare centers?

Millions of displaced people in northwest Syria need medical help, but as they also struggle with food security, clean water, and weather conditions in winter, many can’t afford the cost of healthcare, or the price of the journey getting there.

Out two primary healthcare centres provide critical and basic services in the heart of displacement camps completely free, allowing the most vulnerable people to access paediatric care, obstetric care, internal and general medicine, labs, malnutrition treatment, and medicines without having to travel long, costly, and unsafe distances to hospitals.

They truly save and prolong lives, while helping vulnerable people to live with more comfort and dignity, while reducing the worry and burden of health.

Our work in Syria

Human Appeal has been changing lives through our projects in Syria since 2013.

Last year, we helped 3,843,270 people across 20 countries, including 1,214,180 people in Syria. We’ve supported around 270,000 people at the hospital and its clinics in the last 5 years.

Your charity could truly save lives in Syria by providing critical healthcare to the most vulnerable people who would otherwise be unable to access medical care easily.

Be a mercy to the most vulnerable, and reap Allah’s mercy.

Human Appeal is committed to providing aid in the country or program that you select. In the event we complete the program, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where it is needed most.
