“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?” (Muslim)
What a blessing to be able to witness another Day of Arafah, considered the best day of the entire Islamic calendar, offering magnified rewards, and unparalleled mercy.
Give your Zakat, fulfil this beautiful duty, and reap Allah’s mercy.
Qurbani from $30
$25 - Gift an olive tree to a vulnerable family
Sponsor an orphan - $50 per month ($1.65 per day) or $600 per year
$1,300 - Install a deep water well, changing the future of an entire community.**
So merciful is Allah on this day, that no matter your sins, if you have the smallest amount of Iman, Allah can offer his forgiveness.
“When the evening of Arafah arrives, nobody with a mustard seed’s weight of faith (Iman) in their hearts is left, except that they are forgiven.” (Haythami)
Here’s how you can maximise your reward on the blessed Day of Arafah:
Fast. A beloved act with a beautiful reward. The Messenger (PBUH) said that fasting on this day “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” (Muslim)
Make dua for yourself, your family, and the Ummah. The Prophet told us of the best dua to perform on this day:
“The most excellent dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said is, ‘There is nothing that deserves to be worshiped in truth except Allah, He is Alone and has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is All-Powerful over all things.'" (Muwatta)
“Laa ilaaha ila-laahu, wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shayin qadeer”
Give your Zakat and reap the magnified blessings for this act. If you’ve already given your Zakat for the year, then you can still reap Allah’s mercy through supporting any of our projects with your Sadaqah. You could provide an entire community with water for years to come, or provide oppressed Palestinian farmers with a livelihood through olive trees, or support an orphaned or street child with shelter and education for a brighter future.
Don’t forget to give your Qurbani and double your impact and reward on this blessed day. Make sure you have fulfilled your Qurbani duty, which you can do for as little as $30, or have an even greater impact by giving your Qurbani to those in the Ummah struggling with malnutrition and extreme hunger. Limited Qurbanis left. Don't miss out on the rewards.
It’s the blessed day of the year where Allah promises His mercy to all who ask. Don’t let the Day of Arafah pass without making the most of Allah’s gifts.
Fast. Pray. Give. Seek the blessings of this beautiful day of forgiveness.
“There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of ‘Arafah. He comes close to those (people standing on ‘Arafah), and then He reveals before His Angels saying, ‘What are these people seeking.”
