Human Appeal was delighted to host soccer legend Papisse Cisse at our Manchester HQ recently.
Papisse Cisse shared with us his love of his home country of Senegal and the incredible individual charitable works he carries out. This is a true inspiration to us as we begin to establish Human Appeal’s programs and work in Senegal, alleviating poverty while supporting livelihoods and well-being.
On the visit, Human Appeal’s Director of Fundraising Zaheer Khan, said “Human Appeal has always had a keen interest in sport and we have supported the philanthropic endeavours of many of our donors. We are delighted to have discussions with such an esteemed sportsman and footballer as Papisse Cisse and we are hopeful that moving forward we will be able to expand our work in Senegal through our contact.”
