• 10th Muharram – 20th September
Eid ul Adha is a joyous time marking the end of the holy pilgrimage, Hajj. This festival takes place in the month of Dhul Hijjah, wherebyby Muslims immerse themselves in worship, alongside asking for forgiveness from Allah, specifically on the Day of Arafah (9th day of Dhul Hijah).
Muslims also carry out or contribute towards the spiritual act of Qurbani, sacrificing an animal, during the Eid period. This is following the act of obedience Prophet Ibrahim (as) made due to Allah (swt)’s orders.
Human Appeal would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a beautiful beginning to the Dhul Hijjah period and we pray that Allah (swt) brings you ease and keeps you steadfast in your worship for Him. For those embarking on the journey of Hajj, we pray that Allah (swt) makes it an amazing and eye-opening experience and returns you in good health and high imaan.
