NewWave Government Services, a leading provider of innovative business solutions for government and industry, has partnered with Human Appeal to help the people of Gaza.

After 200 days of brutal conflict, the death toll in Gaza has passed 34,000 with most victims being women and children. Nearly 77,000 people have also been wounded. This figure excludes the tens of thousands of people buried beneath the rubble of what used to be homes, shops, and other buildings.

With no signs of a ceasefire, the hunger crisis inside Gaza is worsening and with the rate of attacks on healthcare higher than in any other conflict globally since 2018, the medical crisis has reached an unimaginable level. Thanks to the support our humanitarian partners like NewWave, Human Appeal is providing 1 million hot meals and 20,000 double-up food parcels to feed 100,000 Palestinians families facing famine.

We’re also providing double-up hot meals, mobile medical care, and hygiene kits.

Over 32 years of lifesaving work in Gaza

Human Appeal has been working on the ground in Gaza since 1991. We were there from the first blockade 15 years ago and across 32 years we’ve supported thousands of families with our humanitarian interventions, including food, clean water, medical aid, and livelihoods.

Since October 7th, our Gaza team has been working every day, risking their own lives to deliver lifesaving aid. Thanks to the dedication of our Human Appeal family, donors, and humanitarian partners, 1,540,546 Palestinians have been supported. 237,653 have received food and fresh vegetable parcels, 57,642 have received hygiene kits, and 65,000 have received medical care.

Deliveries by air and sea

So far, we’ve sent eight planes loaded with 240 tons of aid into Gaza via Jordan and the Rafah Crossing, providing $3.6 million worth of vital medical care, baby milk, hygiene kits and prenatal vitamins. We’ve also sent three shipping containers into Gaza with 36 tons of food, 32 crates of clothing, and 4,000 mattresses and blankets.

Mobile clinic

In partnership with Al Awda Hospital, our Rafah mobile clinic moves to different school shelters every week, providing the sick, injured and displaced with vital medical care every day.

Safe water

Human Appeal’s water desalination plant, the largest in southern Gaza, has continued to provide 52,000 litres of fresh drinking water every hour.

With no end to the conflict in site, the entire population of Gaza needs humanitarian assistance. As the bombs continue to drop, children are starving to death, and 9 out of 10 Palestinians in the north are trying to survive on less than one meal a day.
