Hot iftar meals for flood survivors Pakistan

“Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all." (Source - Ibn Khuzaymah)

Last year, the worst floods in living memory have devastated agricultural lands. 33 million people were affected after 80% of Pakistan’s annual monsoon rainfall fell in just four weeks. It could take years for the country to recover.

$8 – provide a hot iftar meal to survivors of the floods.

Be a mercy to a fasting person affected by the floods in Pakistan

Give $8 today, and you’ll be a mercy to a survivor of the floods this Ramadan, allowing them to focus on recovering from the floods, worship, and fasting without worrying if they’ll have food for iftar.

Families are still struggling to survive after having lost crops, livestock and homes in the floods. Five million people are still living close to flooded areas; not only have their livelihoods been destroyed but they’re also at risk of catching waterborne diseases.

In Balochistan and Sindh, 1.4 million children are at risk of malnutrition.

Your mercy can feed the fasting in Pakistan.

What will each meal provide?

Give a hot meal to a flood survivor Pakistan and help us to reach a total of 4,500 vulnerable people who were affected by the flooding in Sindh and Balochistan. Each person will receive chicken biriyani, beef curry, roti, juice and water.

Why give with Human Appeal ?

We’ve been feeding fasting families for over 30 years, in which time we’ve developed efficient, high-quality programmes that put the needs of the communities we help first. Last Ramadan, your charity allowed us to provide over 133,620 people with iftar across 14 countries, including 35,755 in Pakistan.

Feed the fasting, be a mercy, and reap Allah’s mercy.

Give mercy now.
